The Sky High star announced her child’s arrival on Monday via a sweet photo of her cradling her newborn’s hand, in which she captioned, “Ace Flores 3.14.2020.”
Haqq shares little Aces with her ex-boyfriend O.T. Genasis, who was present for the birth.
The rapper also celebrated his newborn son on Instagram, posting a photo of a sleepy looking Ace wrapped in a hospital blanket. “Ace. I love you 03.14.20,” gushed the “Cut It” artist.
Malika first announced she was expecting a child last September, writing “I’m pregnant! I didn’t know when, I just knew one day. God said it’s my turn, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the little spirit that grows inside of me. I am yours, baby, and you are mine.”
Later, the expectant mom opened up about how excited she was about her pregnancy in her Facebook Watch talk show Side by Side, in which she co-hosts with twin sister Khadijah.
Malika was filled with emotion as she revealed, “I didn’t know when I was going to have children. So, like, deciding to freeze my eggs as a gift to myself for my 35th birthday was pretty hilarious, now, at this point because I have eggs in the freezer that I may never use because I made a baby in love…and those eggs won’t be necessary!”
