ABC/Ida Mae AstuteAfter WEtv announced Tamar Braxton will be the star of her own reality series, Get Ya Life, the reality star and singer is now offering fans more details on what her new show will entail.
In an Instagram Live story captured by TheJasmineBrand, Braxton revealed that her new series will center around her personal life, as well as her public drama.
“So, it’s a show that originally was supposed to be about my life and me putting together a possible record,” Braxton said in the video snippet. “And how my life is now without Vince [Herbert] in the picture, me dating David, me being a single mom and also running my businesses all myself, without an agent, without a manager but also elevating.”
As you may recall, Braxton has had a tumultuous few years in the public spotlight after being fired from her daytime talk show, The Real, and divorcing her ex-husband and manager, Vincent.
“And that’s the reason I don’t have an agent or a manager because sometimes you outgrow situations,” Tamar continued. “Sometimes the people around you keep you stifled and down. So, this show is about me breaking out and being everything that I am. And once again — I’m not going to say too much — but hopefully, that’s y’all get to see.”
“Praise God? I’ma leave that there for now,” she added.
According to WEtv, Get Ya Life will premiere this April. However, that could change with the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
