The new recording is a rendition of the Marvin Gaye tune “This Love Starved Heart of Mine (It’s Killing Me),” featuring Nic Cester of Jet on lead vocals. You can download it now via digital outlets.
Previously, The Jaded Hearts Club released a cover of the Isley Brothers song “Nobody but Me,” with Kane handling lead singing duties.
The Jaded Hearts Club, which at one time was called Dr. Pepper’s Jaded Hearts Club Band, has been playing one-off shows since 2017 with a varied lineup.
In 2018, Bellamy and the Jaded Hearts performed the Beatles classic “Helter Skelter” alongside Sir Paul McCartney himself. The band’s name, of course, is a play on the title of the iconic 1967 Beatles album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
