After teasing fans all week, Nicki Minaj released her newest collaboration, “What’s That Speed Bout,” featuring NBA YoungBoy and produced by Mike WiLL Made-It. Between flexing about her big diamonds and her “bitter” exes, the queen also name-dropped late Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke.
“If he got seen out with me, it’s a big look. Word to Pop, body smoking like a big blunt,” raps Nick in the track’s video, with her baby bump on full display. It’s been over a month since Nicki gave birth to her baby boy with her husband, Kenneth Petty.
Atlanta rappers 2 Chainz and Mulatto dropped a slumber party music video for their new song, “Quarantine Chick.” 2 Chainz looks quite cozy laying on the bed surrounded by dozens of women twerking in onesie-style pajamas from Onesie Nation.
Swae Lee brought us another dance-themed song, “Krabby Step,” featuring Tyga and Lil Mosey. The track will be featured on the upcoming soundtrack to the Nickelodeon film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run.
Finally, Lil Baby and Canadian rapper NAV joined forces on “Don’t Need Friends,” a standout track from NAV”s collaborative new album, Emergency Tsunami, produced by Wheezy.
On his verse, Baby calls himself a “player” and gives himself a “round of applause” for pulling the “baddest lil [chick] on the shelf,” spending a quarter million on a Richard Mille watch and $130,000 on Hermes bags and Chanel clothes.
Emergency Tsunami is out now, boasting appearances from Gunna, Young Thug and Sahbabii.
