Founders EntertainmentThe 2020 Governors Ball festival has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The three-day event was set for June 5-7 at New York City’s Randall’s Island Park. Artists on the lineup included Tame Impala, Vampire Weekend, Stevie Nicks, Portugal. the Man, Foals, Of Monsters and Men, Milky Chance, Bleachers, Tones and I, and Dominic Fike.
“Simply put — due to current government mandates and the evolving situation in NYC, it is neither safe nor prudent to move forward with our June dates,” festival organizers say in a statement. “The well-being of our fans, artists, staff, vendors, partners, and the surrounding NYC community is always our [number-one] priority.”
Ticket-holders may receive a refund, or transfer their tickets to Governors Ball 2021.
