Credit: Reto SchmidHAIM is postponing the release of the band’s upcoming album, Women in Music Pt. III, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The record, which was originally due out April 24, will now arrive in the summer.
“We’re on day 11 of quarantine which has given us a lot of time to think,” the sister trio writes.
“We’ve been talking every day for hours about our upcoming album and how we want to present it to you guys,” they continue. “Due to everything that is going on with COVID-19 and the changing nature of travel polices and quarantines across the world, we’ve decided it is best to postpone the release of Women in Music Pt. III to later this summer.”
While the album won’t arrive in full for a bit, you’ll still be able to hear some fresh HAIM music soon. While waiting out the pandemic, the group plans on “dropping some new tunes,” so you can be on the lookout for that.
