Prince Williams/WireimageLil Baby is staying on top of the charts.
The rapper’s album, My Turn, has secured the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 for the fifth week in a row, according to the official chart ranking company.
In addition to another week at No. 1, My Turn is now the record holder for album with the most weeks on top of the charts in 2020 and the most since Post Malone‘s 2019 set Hollywood’s Bleeding.
Not only is a fifth week at the top spot a huge accomplishment on its own, the album, which was released on February 28, has landed Lil Baby in a tie with R&B icons Boys II Men, who held the record for “most weeks at No. 1 for a Motown record in the last 40-plus years.”
Others who have achieved this accolade include legends like Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross & The Supremes, who obtained 14 weeks and five weeks, respectively, locked in at the top of the charts.
If that wasn’t impressive enough, Billboard reports that Lil Baby’s album “continues to have the most weeks at No. 1 for any Capitol Records set since The Beatles’ greatest hits compilation” snagged eight weeks in the slot in late 2000 and early 2001.
My Turn is the second studio album from Lil Baby and features collaborations with Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, and Young Thug. It’s his first album to reach No. 1 on the charts.
