Megan Thee Stallion celebrates 26th birthday with “Southside Forever Freestyle”

“Do not try to cap on me/Like I ain’t the hottest out naturally,” Megan kicks off the video, wearing a cap and bikini top reppin’ her hometown NBA team, the Houston Rockets.

Hot Girl Meg also shouts out her mother and grandmother for inspiring her success: “I’m goin’ hard for my mama/She knew I could do it/I pray every day just to prove it/I’m goin’ hard for my granny/She want it, she have it.”

The song follows Megan’s latest single, “I’m a King,” her collabo with Bobby Sessions paying homage to Eddie Murphy’s Coming 2 America character, King Akeem Joffer.

After winning several honors last year, including American Music Awards, BET Awards and Soul Train Music Awards, Meg hopes to take home her first Grammy next month. She has four nominations, including Best New Artist and three nods for the “Savage” remix, featuring Beyoncé: Record of the Year, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance.
