Prince Williams/WireImageThe Voice rapper Lil Durk has dropped a new music video for “Still Trappin’” and an alternate video for “Stay Down.”
Featuring a verse from late rapper King Von, the “Still Trappin'” video finds a few women dancing for Durk and two friends in the studio while they pop bottles and throw cash in the air.
The Chicago emcee also released with a fan-focused lyric video video for “Stay Down,” two months after releasing the official music video featuring Atlanta artists 6lack and Young Thug.
Neither artists appear in the new black-and-white visual, which finds a man who slightly resembles Durk getting his dreads tightened. To pass the time, the man watches a series of videos from pretty women reciting the lyrics and dancing to the song.
“Still Trappin'” and “Stay Down” are both featured on Durk’s December album, The Voice, which peaked at #3 on the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart. From the album, Durk also released music videos for the title track and “Backdoor,” which paid homage to King Von, who was signed to Durk’s Only The Family label. The 26-year-old was shot and killed in Atlanta on November 6th, a week after releasing his debut album, Welcome to O’Block.
Up next, Durk is looking to take home his first Grammy award after earning two nominations for his assistance on Drake‘s “Laugh Now, Cry Later.”
