Grade A/Interscope RecordsJuice WRLD‘s posthumous album Legends Never Die is still the No.1 album for a second week in a row.
Billboard reports that the album, which dropped July 10, was the biggest release of the year when it sold nearly 500,000 copies in its first week.
For the week ending July 23, Juice sold an additional 162,000 units — beating out new releases from Country stars The Chicks, who bowed third on the Billboard 200 with Gaslighter; their first album in 14 years.
In addition, the 21-year-old also outpaced Pop Smoke‘s posthumous effort Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon, which debuted in the top position and now remains in second.
In addition, Juice is still lighting up the Billboard Hot 100, with five songs hanging in the top 10. “Come and Go” debuted in the second spot, just beneath DaBaby‘s “Rockstar.”
“Wishing Well” is in the fifth spot while “Conversations” holds seventh. His effort “Life’s a Mess,” which features Halsey, climbed to the ninth spot while “Hate The Other Side,” which features Polo G and The kid LAROI wraps up the tenth spot.
More of his songs have earned their spot in the top 20, with “Blood on My Jeans” hitting 12th, while “Titanic,” “Righteous,” and “Bad Energy” take up spots 14 through 16.
Juice died unexpectedly December 8, 2019, just days after his 21st birthday, after suffering a seizure.
