Credit: Jeremy SafferThe Metal Tour of the Year will still go on, just not in the year it was originally supposed to.
The stacked outing, featuring co-headliners Megadeth and Lamb of God, as well as Trivium and In Flames, was originally supposed to launch last month, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will now kick off in July 2021.
“We can’t wait to get back on stage and get this tour kicked off,” the bands say in a joint statement.
Previously purchased tickets will be honored at the rescheduled dates. Refund information is available at LiveNation.com/Refund.
