According to HipHopDX, the “Press” rapper joined Instagram Live over the Memorial Day weekend to let fans know to look out for her new single.
“My single is coming very, very soon, OK guys,” Cardi said during the live on Saturday. “My single is coming when I lose weight. Never!”
Other than the single “Press,” Cardi hasn’t released a full project since her triple-platinum album Invasion of Privacy, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Cardi’s relatable coronavirus rant remix also landed in the top 20 on Billboard‘s R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart in March.
Cardi B has been showing out during the quarantine, slaying in her colorful wigs and revealing an enormous back tattoo that was done in under 60 hours in 10 cities, according to her tattoo artist.
