Grant SpanierK Camp has delivered a visual for his latest single…because ladies love a lickle “Rude Boy.”
The visual looks like summer on an island as K Camp rides through town and posts up at a party. There’s a beautiful lady lounging by the ocean, enjoying the good vitamin D from the sun, and regretting that COVID-19 is making us miss the great outdoors.
Written by K Camp, the single comes from his latest project K.I.S.S. 5, which features guest appearances from Jeremih, Jacquees, 6LACK, Ari Lennox, and more.
For production, he pulled from his dope in-house team of producers and engineers such as Reazy Renegade, Bobby Kritical; he tapped Jarrod “JRod” Doyle for this new single.
“I pulled together all the producers in my mind that I felt was the dopest,” he tells ABC Audio. “So all the ones I felt like been giving me the vibes for years, I brought them all in just off the strength of that.”
K Camp described working on K.I.S.S. 5 as “fun” and “quick”: He recorded his third release under his Rare Sounds imprint during the time his RARE Sounds Studio Complex in Atlanta was under construction.
“It was quicker than I thought it was going to be,” he tells ABC Audio. “I think I recorded K.I.S.S. 5 the quickest out of all my projects. I was recording while my studio was getting built so I would help work on the studio and record so I was going back and forth with it.”
