Jim Spellman/Getty ImagesK. Michelle has come a long way. After documenting the removal of the illegal butt implants she received years ago, the singer and reality star now says she plans to help women do the same in a forthcoming Lifetime docuseries.
Michelle tells ABC Audio that the still-untitled series, which is currently in its casting stage, will focus on women who have had botched or illegal surgeries.
“The show is just basically helping women who might have gotten illegal butt shots, have silicone in them, and who can’t afford to get it out,” she says, adding, “So we’re trying to save some lives and help them.”
According to Michelle, many women simply can afford the “very expensive type of surgery,” because, as “The Rain” singer notes, “Insurance doesn’t cover it.” So, that’s where she comes in.
“The show is basically just to help these women and to try to prolong life and try to get them healthy,” she says.
Michelle, who previously described her decision to get plastic surgery as “childish and clueless,” reveals that she’s still on the mend, but she’s getting better.
“I feel better. I still have some symptoms and some illness, I still have…two more surgeries,” she says. “But I’m feeling fine.”
