Monty Brinton/CBSToday marks the fourth anniversary of Prince‘s passing, and tonight, artists including Foo Fighters,Beck and Coldplay‘s Chris Martin will pay tribute to the late music icon during CBS’ Let’s Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince special.
The concert, which was recorded earlier this year, saw the Foos cover “Darling Nikki,” and Beck perform “Raspberry Beret.” Martin, meanwhile, joined Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles to perform her band’s song “Manic Monday,” which was written by Prince.
“He was, without question, the best of all time,” Foo frontman Dave Grohl says of Prince in a video previewing the special.
Other performers include Gary Clark Jr. and St. Vincent, as well as Earth, Wind & Fire, Common, Usher, Sheila E., John Legend, H.E.R., Morris Day & the Time, Juanes, Miguel, and Prince’s former band, The Revolution.
The show is hosted by Saturday Night Live alum Maya Rudolph, who will also perform with her Prince cover band, Princess.
