Credit: Jens KochRammstein has issued a statement regarding the band’s upcoming tour dates, which include a North American stadium run this summer.
The German metellars write that “some of the dates” on their 2020 tour have been “affected” by the COVID-19 pandemic, but they don’t offer any other specifics.
“We are working on a solution for this difficult situation together with our partners in all the affected countries,” Rammstein writes. “We hope for the understanding of those who have purchased tickets for the coming shows.”
“As soon as we have precise and definitive information, we will communicate this immediately,” the band adds.
The North American leg, which is set to kick off in August, includes Rammstein’s first-ever shows in U.S. stadiums.
Rammstein promises an update “as soon as possible.” In the meantime, stay tuned to Rammstein.de.
Meanwhile, frontman Til Lindemann was hospitalized in March and admitted to intensive care, though he tested negative for the coronavirus.
