Lil Baby is fresh off his sophomore album My Turn, which debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200 chart, but he’s not done just yet. The Atlanta rapper was gearing up to drop another project…that is, until he decided to put things on hold until the COVID-19 quarantine is over.
“Ima hold up on Lamborghini Boys until we bacc outside!” he tweeted.
The “My Dawg” rapper first announced the compilation mixtape’s title concept and expected release date last month in a video clip from his Instagram Live.
“I’ll drop my mixtape in like 60 days. Lamborghini Boys,” he said. “All the rap [guys] who got Lamborghinis.”
While we await the day when things return to normal, Lil Baby’s My Turn is available now. It includes the singles “Woah,” the Queen & Slim soundtrack cut “Catch the Sun,” and guest appearances from Moneybagg Yo, Lil Uzi Vert and Gunna on “Heatin’ Up.”
