Taylor Hill/FilmMagicBored while quarantining at home? Anderson .Paak has shared a new sketch from his #PaintWithPaak coloring contest, saluting the heroic healthcare workers who are treating COVID-19 patients.
“#PaintWithPaak we honor all my people on the front line doing everything in their power to help us get through this pandemic,” Anderson .Paak wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for everything you do. We salute and thank you.”
Anderson .Paak concluded the post with, “God bless and stay inside.”
Each week, the singer’s own IG account and his “paakhouse“ Instagram page posts an outlined image of the rapper. The new one features him dressed as a healthcare worker with a face mask and a stethoscope around his neck. The idea is to print out the images and color them in. He described the initiative as “something else to keep the little ones occupied.”
The singer’s .Paak House initiative works in partnership with the Brandon Anderson Foundation, a non-profit organization that believes that with the right exposure, anyone can tap into their greatest potential.
The foundation works to create a “safe haven” for youth via community outreach, summer programs, sponsored events and after-school programs.
