Mad DecentMumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford has united with Diplo and his EDM trio Major Lazer for a new song, “Lay Your Head on Me.”
The track finds the British folk rocker singing softly over an electronic beat about comforting someone in a time of crisis, which is certainly relevant to the current state of affairs. You can download it now via digital outlets.
Last week, Mumford released a solo cover of the ’40s show tune “You’ll Never Walk Alone” to raise money for COVID-19 relief.
Mumford & Sons’ most recent album is 2018’s Delta. They also released a one-off single, “Blind Leading the Blind,” last October.
