Issa Rae is officially going face-to-face with her competition in the season four trailer of Insecure.
In the trailer, Rae’s Issa Dee– who split with her longstanding boyfriend Lawrence, played by Jay Ellis — has some choice words for her ex’s new girl Condolla.
“Where are all the good men at?,” Rae asks Condolla after she says Los Angeles is very small. “Where your ex is? Let me run up on him, like you running up on mine.”
Season four, which is set for an extended ten-episode season, will pick up where last season left off. It will follow Issa as she pursues a passion project she “actually cares about”; Molly, who navigates a real relationship for the first time; Lawrence, who figures out what “leveling-up means for him”; and Tiffany as she deals with life as a new mother.
In addition to Rae and Ellis, Yvonne Orji, Natasha Rothwell, Amanda Seales, Kendrick Sampson and Alexander Hodge are all expected to return.
The fourth season of Insecure returns to HBO on Sunday, April 12.
